Wow!!!!
300 is a gooooood movie.. Enjoyed it a lot ah...
A hell of a time..

I got to watch it yesterday thanks to my gurl..(LOVE U BABY!!!)
She got tickets to the preview cause she's under SPH.. A nice job to have, right? free movie passes.. Anyway, we watched it at 9.10 yesterday.. we were rushing to get there cause my attachment job finished at bout 5.30... So get home, rushed back out... Hmm... Tiring day..

Back to 300, i can say, this is one of the best movies in 2007.. Competing head to head with Spiderman 3 and Transformers..

It has this element of grandness in every part of the movie as if it was entirely ripped out of the comic book(i did not read the comic btw but i noe wat it should be like),

from the Spartans(They kinda remind me of Myrmidons from TROY)

to the grand scale of the persian army,
from normal persian infantry,
to persian calvary
to the IMMORTALS( Man, these men are seriously cool..)
i got to take a pic with an Immortal anyway.. hehe..

but overall, i find it the movie kinda biased towards the spartans.. Well, if i'm expecting a real documentary, i should watch national geographic.. hehe..

5 stars awarded to 300!!! (too bad there's no sequel)

I think the army that really steals the show are the Immortals.. they are seriously cool...

History check bout them, the reason they are called Immortals because during that age, at any time, there can only be 10,000 Immortals.. If ever an Immortal perish in battle, the best of the best from the regular army will be given the post.. Not one more or less than 10,000..
So, really, no matter how many of them you kill, there'll always be 10,000 of them the next time you face them, making it look like they cannot be killed..
